Elliana Torrez is a student at Silver Creek High School. She is a freshman who is taking Journalism for the first time. Ellie took Journalism because she enjoys writing and would like to expand her writing skills. She is very passionate about music. In her free time she enjoys practicing volleyball and skateboarding. Something that she’s looking forward to this semester is making more memories with her friends.

![Hosting the SCLA Casptone Mentor Dinner outside allowed for more attendees on September 27, 2021 at Silver Creek. This event would’ve usually been held inside.
