![Hosting the SCLA Casptone Mentor Dinner outside allowed for more attendees on September 27, 2021 at Silver Creek. This event would’ve usually been held inside. In January these students got together for one day of rehearsal and recording - a big feat to do in only one day. 22 kids were selected from schools around the district based on a recorded audition. They performed music by local composers (Fort Collins and Greeley) and had Q&A’s as well as virtual visits from both of the composers. Silver Creek students involved include: Aileen Cawlfield, Conner Springsteen, Emily Wiggins, Nick Selleck, Ian Lenick, and Tyler Courtney.
