The National Girl Scout Cookie Weekend is from February 21-23. Just in the same time that Wendy’s celebrated the week with a delicious new Girl Scout Cookie themed frosty!
Wendy’s has taken the original chocolate Frosty and vanilla Frosty, and is now pairing it with the Girl Scout cookie, Thin Mints. Now partnering with Girl Scouts of the USA (GSUSA), The Wendy’s Company has made a limited-time frost known as the Thin Mints Frosty. The celebration is a weekend that marks the time that people all over the nation can order their cookies and get them shipped straight to their door.
At first glance, it smells minty, as well as chocolatey. It is a chocolate base with Thin Mint sauce swirled around the cup. Along with the chocolate base, there is also a vanilla base option.
The Frosty was chocolate dense, especially on the first bite, but once you eat a little more of the Frosty you begin to taste the subtle mint flavor. The chocolate flavor definitely overpowers the taste of the mint, but it is still delicious. The sauce itself is the main source of the minty flavor. There is a slight grainy texture from the cookies crumbled into sauce, but otherwise there is nothing out of the normal.
It is a very sweet chocolate ice cream treat. But, if you don’t like really sweet items, this is not the best option. It is also recommended to get certain bases to match your preferences. If you would like to get more of the minty flavor, try the vanilla base, if you like more chocolate then try the chocolate base.
No matter what you choose, you will still love this rich, chocolate, minty, sweet treat. The limited time frosty is available from February 24, 2025 to March 23, 2025 at locations in the US, Canada, Puerto Rico, Mexico, the UK, and select international locations. Although it’s no longer available, don’t worry, the treat may return for the next cookie season.
