The excitement has arrived. After all the anticipation, the 2026 World Cup is here, and the morning games are starting. You’re still tired, though. Usually you wake up close to noon, but you know that the exhilaration of the rare tournament is worth watching, even if it’s in the morning.
As you hear the cheers begin, you reach for a drink in the cooler, and see a can of yellow, blue, green, and purple. You take a sip and are blown away by the bursting mixture of sweet, tangy, bitter, and fresh taste.
This Celsius Electric Vibe is officially in stores in Boulder County, and it’s quickly becoming popular among soccer fans and energy drink enthusiasts. As a mix of pineapple, orange, cherry, and grape flavor, it rolled out to local retailers at the end of April, and is a “Limited Edition” drink and will likely last until the end of the summer. While not a sponsor of FIFA (an international governing body of soccer), the drink is intended to serve people during the 2026 World Cup by providing extra excitement for the tournament, as World Cup players Weston McKennie, Declan Rice, and Hirving Lozano starred in a high-energy commercial for “The Surge” campaign, which promoted the drink. As of May 3, 2026, it costs $2.71.
Electric Vibe’s innovative flavors take people to the beach during each sip with its cool, energizing, and ironically, soothing flavor. In addition, each sip has a different taste, so nobody can be bored of it.
The combination of the cherry and pineapple perfectly fits the summer and World Cup vibe, and the grape and orange completes the sweet, thrilling taste that the roaring crowd feels as they cheer for their home country. The caffeine can also increase fans’ energy so they can feel more excited to watch each World Cup game, even if it’s in the morning.
The Celsius commercial perfectly fits this excitement of summer and soccer, as drinking a cool, refreshing, and thrilling drink while enjoying the hot sun and a tournament during a summer that gives life-long memories.
You can find the drink at Target, King Soopers, Sam’s Club, and even Amazon. Whether you drink it on ice, in the can, or simply have a sip, you will never forget the summertime flavors that lifted the spirit of your hard earned summer and the legendary 2026 World Cup!

![Hosting the SCLA Casptone Mentor Dinner outside allowed for more attendees on September 27, 2021 at Silver Creek. This event would’ve usually been held inside. According to Lauren Kohn, a SCLA 12 teacher, “If we have a higher number of people, as long as we can host the event outside, then that seems to be keeping every[one] safe”.](https://schsnews.org/wp-content/uploads/2021/11/sxMAIGbSYGodZkqmrvTi5YWcJ1ssWA08ApkeMLpp-900x675.jpeg)
