Unevenly parked cars in the SCHS parking lot indicate the presence of newbie drivers. Officer Ryan Douglas, Silver Creek’s SRO, noticed the poor parking in the lot and has seen the parking page himself. Officer Douglas says, “If you get down to the edge of the parking lot and look down the line where all the cars should be lined up to, they are all over the place”.

Hosting the SCLA Casptone Mentor Dinner outside allowed for more attendees on September 27, 2021 at Silver Creek. This event would’ve usually been held inside. According to Lauren Kohn, a SCLA 12 teacher, “If we have a higher number of people, as long as we can host the event outside, then that seems to be keeping every[one] safe”.

The Silver Creeks volleyball team lines up during roster announcements while students fill the student section for the Raptors annual dig pink match. In honor of it being October and breast cancer awareness month, the Silver Creek volleyball team repped their pink jerseys while the fans participated in a pink out. Coming off a 4-0 winning streak, the raptors looked to continue the streak taking on Centarus on Thursday October, 8th. With the amazing support from fans, the raptors took the match, sweeping the Warriors in three sets.
