Kate Spellman

Kate Spellman, Staff Writer

Kate Spellman is in 10th grade and has been in Colorado for the majority of her life. She grew up around St.Louis, then moved to Colorado after going there for a family trip. She is a very competitive person and has been competing in horse shows since she started riding horses. She’s very passionate about animals and one day hopes to go into the veterinary field. She loves all her pets: the dogs Luna and Hamilton (Hammie), a cat named Sally, a Guinea Pig named Chibi, and Milo the horse. Kate has never taken Journalism before and is hoping to improve her writing skills with this course.
